Guiding Activity
- Students will explore different ways that people support those in need.
Students will log into
Diigo
to explore websites that offer examples of service projects.
Diigo Groups
Students will complete a graphic organizer and share their findings in a class discussion.

Guiding Activitiy
- Students will develop a plan for carrying out their own service project.
In groups, students will choose an action for their project based on the needs of their charity and write out their plan.

Groups will then present their service project plan to the rest of the class in
Glogster
poster.
Each group will carry out their service project.
Students need to take pictures throughout their project.
Write notes of appreciation to those who help with the service project.
Guiding Activity
- Finally, groups will make a summary video of their service project to share with the PTA/PTO and school administration.
